Flowers of the Week: 3.5.12

Happy Monday!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend - I did...even though it involved a lot of painting, it was still great.

As always, I love to start the week off with flowers.  And of course, Kate at Flowerwild is one of my absolute fave designers - as witnessed below.

Flowers of the Week: 11.14.11

Happy Monday to you loves!  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend ;-)

So here is some oh so pretty flowers to start off your week...
Flowers of the Week
I am adoring this centerpiece.  I love the square wooden box, and I love that it's filled with what looks like freshly picked wildflowers...all topped off with a succulent.  Gorgeous, no?

Hope these brighten your week...and if not your week, at least your Monday ;-)

Flowers of the Week: 11.7.11

Good morning darlings! Even though today is the 7th of November, it is the first Monday in November...which just seems weird to me for some unknown reason. Another thing that's weird is it getting dark at 5:30 p.m.! The extra hour of sleep last night I was TOTALLY fine with ;-)...but getting dark an hour earlier - NOT okay! Am I the only one that feels this way? Please tell me no.

And while I am in the mood for some oh so pretty flowers today - neither bright colors nor soft colors are doing it for me on this first Monday in November. However, these, these are...
Flowers of the Week
Love, love, love! This is just the right amount of pretty for me today. Add to that the rustic feel of the bouquet, and a hint of glam from the brooch, and I think I just found the PERFECT bouquet to start November off with...wouldn't you agree?

Hmm, yes this is exactly how I like to start my Monday's - with pretty! Tell me darlings - how do you like to start your Monday's?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN my little darlings!

Of course, since today is Halloween, I just couldn't resist going to the dark side for this week's 'Flowers of the Week'...so have a look-see at this arrangement...

Perfect for today, no?  Wishing you a wonderful Halloween darlings.  I hope it's filled with lots of treats ;-)

Flowers of the Week: 10.24.11

Happy Monday lovelies ;-)  Did you have a wonderfully sweet weekend?  Do anything fabulously fun?  Me - well, I pinned all weekend.  No, seriously...pretty much all weekend long.  I love that I could stay in bed with my iPad and pin away the day...HA!  It's a perfect thing to do when you're not feeling well...just look at pretty pictures and pin the ones you like - easy peasy...and that's a good thing because that's about all I could handle all weekend!

However, I did rally up some energy and attend a lunch, and visited with friends and family on Saturday for a couple hours...but other than that I did not do too much, or leave the house all weekend...which is sooo NOT me!  But I just haven't been feeling 100% ;-(  Headaches and a fever = no fun.  And I see a doctor visit coming soon if things don't straighten up around here.  Granted, I don't feel awful and miserable - just not very good, and my normal full of energy self.  I am hoping that all changes this week, and whatever I have will just go away...I wonder if that's wishful thinking?!?!

So I really am in need of some beautiful flowers to brighten up my Monday.  And I think this bouquet will definitely doing the trick...
Flowers of the Week
All wrapped up pretty and ready to go.  Hmm, I don't mind if I do ;-)

Here's to a great week (sick or not, dang it) here at LCW!  I'll be back soon with my second post.  Until then - enjoy the flowers...hehe.

Flowers of the Week: 10.17.11

Hi loves!  Happy Monday to you.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I can tell you I spent most of mine trying to get better.  I think I slept pretty much since Thursday...so sorry no post on Friday...I just had the flu hit me like a ton of bricks, and it really knocked me off my feet.  However, I am feeling better now, and I have lots of catch up to do today.  But I figured I would make this week - FALL WEEK.  So all my posts this week will be Fall inspired...which I thougth might be a little fun ;-)  Plus, I am really trying to get into the Fall mood...and I was hoping this might do the trick...we shall see!

And since it is Fall Week around here, I thought kicking off the 'Flowers of the Week' with this bouquet was most appropriate...
Flowers of the Week
Oh so pretty wheat wrapped up with brown lace - doesn't get much more Fall than that!  You know what loves, I think I am heading out to pick up some wheat...as I just got a little idea for some decor for the shop next month.  See you back here in a bit with some Fall inspired LCW Style ;-)

Flowers of the Week: 10.10.11

Hiya darlings ;-)  Did you all have a fabulous weekend?  Mine - well I was disconnected for most of the weekend...and you know what - I kinda enjoyed it ;-)  And then on Sunday I started a puzzle...I know I am a nerd, or a dork as my BFF calls me!  Hey, I've always known I was a bit different...HA!

But seriously doing a puzzle is like making everything else in my world stop.  And let me tell you, not much else does that...except sleep...when I finally fall asleep.  However, I really have to watch myself and puzzles, because I will sit down and 4 hours later I look up, and not only has the time passed but the puzzle will be done.  It's a sickness I tell you!  At least it's not an awful one to have ;-)  I needed to take a little break from business while I had a chance, as I have a couple of things going on this week!

First, I am just tickled to be working with a new client who is hosting a craft night for her and her girlfriends.  This is going to be such a fun project - and I am looking forward to helping put together all of the details - YAY!  And second, I am ELATED to finally be able to say, for a fact, that Luna and Chloe Handcrafted on Etsy will be open for business on Thursday this week ;-)  All together now - YIPPEE!!!  Thank you for being oh so patient with me about it all.

So now I bet you are ready for me to quit chattering and to see the 'Flower of the Week,' no?  Well here they are darlings...
Flowers of the Week
How's that for some flowers to start off your week?  I just LOVE how they trail down and spill onto the ground.  You bet your buttons - this is another amazing creation by Kate of Flowerwild.  It's all so soft and pretty and dreamy.  Just what I need to get me through this week ;-)  Oh how I heart Monday's!

Flowers of the Week: 10.3.11

Happy October sweet peas!  Can you believe it?  I can't ;-)

So tell me - how was your weekend?  I quite enjoyed mine.  I made a trip over to see my brother in Monterey.  I packed my sunnies and a scarf and some warm clothes, as it always is colder in Monterey than in San Jose.  However, when I arrived it was sunny and 72 - so a very nice day!  I am working on a post for Luna and Chloe Style that will have a weekend in review in pictures - it should be up later today...so you can always get a better glimpse into my weekend there ;-)  But I do have to tell you I sipped on a Mai Tai and had fresh cut artichokes from a farm stand.  The artichokes were DELICIOUS too!  Oh and I found two fabulous copper trays for my inventory for Over The Moon Vintage Rentals...and if you want to know what a copper tray is then click right HERE to see!

Anyhoo, how about some 'Flowers of the Week' for you.  Now this bouquet has a rustic, vintage vibe to it.  And  not only is it full of textures, but it is STUNNING!  Have a look-see sweet peas...
Flowers of the Week
I oh so LOVE it, don't you?  And you know I love that fabric it's sitting on...as it's like LCW's header color ;-)

Hope this bouquet brightens your day!  I will see you back here in a bit with my second post of the day ;-)

Good Monday morning to you lovelies!  Did you have a fabulous weekend?  Tell me...what did you do?  My weekend was interesting - not necessarily in a bad or good way - just interesting!  I will share more with you in my next post coming up ;-)

But until then, I thought I would share the 'Flowers of the Week' with you.  Are you ready for some BREATHTAKING flowers to start off your day today?  Eeks...I sure do hope so lovelies because Oh My Goodness do I have some for you ;-)  Feast your eyes on this floral heaven...

Just as BREATHTAKING!  I am loving those fabric panels.  Now this is what I call OVER THE MOON, wouldn't you agree lovelies?  And I will give you one guess as to who is behind these flowers.  She's one of my faves, if not my fave florist!  You bet your buttons it's Flowerwild...she creates flower magic in my book ;-)

Go ahead and hang out and stare for a bit...I did ;-)  See you back here soon lovelies!

Flowers of the Week: 9.19.11

Good morning, good morning lovelies!  How was your weekend?  Lovely, I hope ;-)

I got to puppy sit my favorite boy Gus this weekend.  He always keeps me on my toes with our hour long walks we took each day!  And I made my first trip to the farmers market to get apples on Sunday.  My brother and his wife take turns helping out one of his best friends Bobbie, who owns an orchard, at the market.  So not only do I get fresh apples, but I get to visit with my bother or his wife.  This Sunday my brother was working.  And yesterday since I had Gus, he made the trip with me as well.  He was definitely the hit in all his cuteness sitting on the back of the truck ;-)

However, while I planned on being super productive this weekend, I didn't have the opportunity to do anything!  Not good ;-(  Also, I am sorry for my little disappearance last Thursday and Friday.  At least I had a post scheduled for Friday, so that helped.  I was busy taking care of a couple things, and I know I PROMISED to have Luna and Chloe Handcrafted on Etsy up and running on Thursday, and do a post about it...I have decided to hold off on this for a couple more weeks.

I am redoing my space at the Inspired Collective this Wednesday (which I will share with you on Thursday), and then I am going to start working on another design for the Grand Opening of the Inspired Collective on October 6th.  Some of the designs I am going to use for the grand opening, are ones that I have created for Luna and Chloe Handcrafted on Etsy, and I really want everything to be a surprise at the opening...so I have decided to hold off on showing you them and uploading them to Etsy.  Yet, maybe I will give you darlings a sneak peeks over the next couple of weeks ;-)

The other thing I said I was going to do was the Inspiration to Creation No.: 2 - which is all ready to go except for the posts...yet, I still haven't done them!  Aye, aye, aye - I will get working on those this week, and hopefully get them finished up to share with you soon.

Wow, am I rambling on or what?  I am sure you ready for the 'Flowers of the Week' already.  With Friday being the first day of fall, I really wanted to choose some fabulous fall flowers that are perfect for this time of year...when the leaves haven't started to turn yet.  These bridesmaids bouquets are just early fall perfection in my book.  And while a bouquet in shades of green and brown doesn't sound that pretty, let me tell you lovelies these bouquets are GORGEOUS.  Have a look-see...
Flowers-of-the-Week-1
Love, love, love and love.  Yep, I love them all ;-)  And for a better visual, here they all are together...

I adore the brown ribbon too, don't you?

So tell me loves...are you ready for Fall?

Flowers of the Week: 9.12.11

Good Monday morning loves!  So tell me - did you have a lovely weekend?  Do anything fun and exciting?

I can honestly say that I am so HAPPY that it's Monday!  My weekend started off on the wrong foot on Friday, and continued to spiral fast and furiously out of control with the clicher, and I do me CLINCHER, happening Sunday evening.  I guess deep down I knew the clincher was going to happen sooner or later...I just wasn't quite ready for it this weekend on top of eveything else.  Aye, aye, aye is all I can say.  I won't even go into the details, but I will tell you that I SO need these gorgeously dreamy flowers this morning to start my Monday, and my week, off on the right foot...
Flowers of the Week
Yes, this bouquet will most defintely do ;-)  I know not all weekends, or weeks for that matter, can be good ones.  It's weekends like this that ALWAYS make me really appreciate all the wonderful weekends I do have.

Here's wishing you, and me, a lovely week my dears!  Let's make it a good one, shall we?

Flowers of the Week: 9.5.11

Happy Labor Day Monday my dears!  How is your holiday weekend going so far?  Fabulous, I hope ;-)  I just wanted to pop in for the first Monday in September and post a gorgeous Fall bouquet for you!  I told you last Monday that I had some gorgeousness for you, and I do.  Have a look-see at this...
Flowers of the Week
Now how is that for a gorgeous Fall bouquet?  I was OVER THE MOON about all the flowers in photographer Jessica Claire's wedding!  And to be honest, it was not just the flowers - I thought the whole wedding was spectacular, didn't you?  It was one of my FAVORITE, if not my favorite, Fall weddings last year ;-)  And just because the flowers were so spectacular, I thought I would share some more with you my dears...
Flowers of the Week
See - SPECTACULAR!  I hope this gorgeousness tides you over til tomorrow my dears, as this is the only post I am doing today.
Enjoy your holiday loves.  I will see you back here tomorrow with my normally scheduled two posts.  Now, I am off to have some fun...as I NEED a little fun these days!

Flowers of the Week: 8.29.11

Good golly - tell me it isn't so...there is absolutely no way possible that this is the last Monday in August!  Eeks, maybe I should be posting Fall flowers this week.  No, I am not ready yet...so it is just gonna have to wait until next Monday, when it is actually September and a bit closer to Fall.  Yes, that seems more appropriate, doesn't it?  However, I sure do have some pretty ones coming next week ;-)

And since I am NOT posting Fall flowers today, how about this swoonworthy bouquet to remind us how spectacular Summer really is...
Flowers-of-the-Week
So soft and pretty.  I love the textures in this bouquet too.  And you know those tendrils that spring out from the top, and even the one below by her bracet, well I love them!  I know some might not, but I oh so do.

Hope this adds some pretty to your Monday.  Wishing you a great one my dears!

Happy, happy, happy Monday morning to you loves!  What a wonderful Monday it has been this morning ;-)  The launch of Over The Moon Vintage Rentals is taking place at 7:00 a.m. California time, and I am doing the kangaroo hop in excitement.  I sincerely hope you love the website and new blog as much as me.  I can't wait for you to see.  Look - I am a poet and didn't even know it!  Aye - that is no sleep, goofy girl talking there.

However - until then I thought I would leave you with this eye candy...
Flowers of the Week
A breathtaking bouquet for the 'Flowers of the Week' this week.  Now that is how to start off a Monday morning, right?  Hope this isn't the only breathtaking thing you see today...hehe ;-)

Oh loves, I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  I will be back here at 7:00 a.m. with a link post to the new site...and then of course again at 10:00 a.m. with my second post of the day.  And after that - this girl is heading back to bed...as I am TIRED...but in the absolutely best tired way!

Flowers of the Week: 8.15.11

Wishing you a wonderful Monday morning my dears!  I can't tell you how excited I am that today is Monday...I know, crazy right?  Usually I don't want Monday's to come, but today is special.  Why, you ask?  Well today I get to see the first look of Over The Moon Vintage Rentals' website!  Eeks...I can't wait to see it all.

Carolynn of Two Brunettes is AH.MAZING to not only work with, but her designs are OVER THE MOON!  Talk about one uber talented lady ;-)  If you are looking for a designer, than trust me, you MUST contact Carolynn.  She is super easy to work with, listens, cares, is patient and is so helpful.  Yet, I must also tell you my programmer, Otis of Example 7, is AH.MAZING as well!  He communicates every step of the way, and  is just so dang helpful that you almost have to pinch yourself to believe how helpful he really is.  He truly cares - which I think is hard to find these days.  I can't tell you how wonderful this whole process has been, and I believe it's because I am working with two of the BEST people in the industry! THANK YOU both to the moon and back, and for being so fabulously you ;-)

So this week's 'Flowers of the Week' are a little thank you to Carolynn and Otis for all of their hard work!  Have a look-see at this SPECTACULAR bouquet...
Flowers of the Week
You bet your buttons this bouquet had to be spectacular ;-)  Gorgeous, no?  Oh I am so loving the poppies!  The colors are stunning, and you know I love the unstructredness of it.  I am seriously smitten with this one my dears.  Hope you are too.

I am getting back on track, and starting to feel like me again ;-)  I have something up my sleeve, and have a meeting this morning about it - hope to be able to share with you soon...as I am super duper excited about it.  Here's to a wonderful week!

Flowers of the Week: 8.1.11

Happy first day of August darlings!  So sorry for only one post on Thursday, and no post on Friday last week...it has been a whirlwind around here with my family coming in on Wednesday, and getting ready for the Fizz & Frills event this coming weekend in San Francisco.  I am going to be there with lots of goodness, as are lots of other fabulous vendors, so I sure do hope that you stop by and say 'HI'!!!!  If you haven't purchased your tickets yet,you can do so right HERE ;-)))

I do have to tell you that I am OVER THE MOON about all the time with my family!  Goodness, my niece and nephew are soooo darling.  I didn't think it was possible to love them any more than I already did...but I do - BIG TIME!!!  And why is it that babies just smell so darn good?  Golly I could sniff my niece and nephew all day long.

Okay, I know...wedding  blog and 'Flowers of the Week' ;-)  And I have some fabulous ones for you today.  Have a look-see at this loveliness...
Flowers of the Week 1a
Lovely, no?  I L-O-V-E the fern frond and flower at each place...just the kind of detail that sends me over the moon.  Plus, I think you all know how I feel about ferns ;-)

This week I am booked solid with family activities - Monterey Bay Aquarium and Gilroy Gardens to name two, and work, and getting ready for the Fizz and Frills event that I will try my hardest to post every day...but I can't promise it.

I can promise a FABULOUS guest post from Chris at Postcards and Pretties that you won't want to miss on Wednesday though!  So be sure to stop by...and I promise that life and LCW will be back to normal after next week ;-)  Wishing you all a wonderful week!  Mwah.

Flowers of the Week: 7.25.11

Good Monday morning loves!  Did everyone have a wonderful weekend?  Do anything fun?  Oh please do share, as I was holed up for the majority of the weekend crafting.  And when I was out it was running errands.  I do have to admit though - I was so in my element ;-)

Since I have been neck deep (notice way more then knee...hehe) in crafting lots of different goodies, I am really in the mood for something simple for this week's flowers.  And a bouquet doesn't get much simpler than this...
Flowers of the Week
A single magnolia bloom that is STUNNING!  For some reason I feel that stunning all in caps still doesn't justify how breathtaking this single bloom is.   I literally caught my breath when I saw it!  What do you think my dears...would you carry a single stunning bloom?  If it looked like this, I would!

Looking forward to an exciting week here at LCW!  My family comes in on Wednesday, so life is gonna get even more crazy good...but do have some lovely planned for you ;-)

P.S. - A warm welcome to my new followers!  Thank you to the moon and back for the follow ;-)

Flowers of the Week: 7.18.11

Good Monday morning my dears.  First I have to say THANK YOU to the moon and back for all of the lovely birthday wishes!  I had a fabulous birthday...and while I didn't have a picnic, I did have dinner outside and a cocktail by candlelight ;-)  Ooh, and I bought myself a gorgeous dress...felt so good to treat myself to something nice!

So enough about me and on to my sister for a minute...hehe!  You see, today is her birthday and I need to wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY and tell her that she is the best, most amazingly fabulous sister a girl can have!!!  She has made me an auntie to two of my favorite people in the world.  And they are proof that miracles do happen.  So no matter how many times I say thank you to her for making me an auntie, it will NEVER be enough for how I feel about my niece and nephew!  Plus, she has been amazingly supportive and encouraging on all my endeavors lately...which just means the world to me.  So sissy - I wish you everything under the stars on your birthday today!  I love you to the moon and back...to infinity!

Thanks for hanging with me for a moment while I said that ;-)  I am dedicating this week's 'Flowers of the Week' to her, and to all the other best, most amazingly fabulous sisters out there!  This one's for you...

Flowers of the Week: 6.27.11

Okay, I am a little stumped how today is the last Monday of June!  Really, where is the time going?  I mean Friday is the first of July - this Friday!  Aye, aye, aye - I really need time to s...l...o...w down.  Or for there to be at least 4 more hours in every day.  I'm not picky - really, I will take either one ;-)  And while my sister and her family (can't wait to get pictures of my nephews red hair - it's FABULOUS) and my mom are still coming to visit for almost two weeks, the trip got pushed back til the last week of July - whew, that buys me some time to get ready for their visit.  I have lots to do.

So tell me - how was your weekend my dears?  Did you do anything fun?  I had a delightful weekend that was pretty productive and fun!  Oh, and you must have a look-see at the bed I picked up - it really is over the moon.  You can see it right here. It's perfect for a boudoir shoot ;-)

Anyhoo, moving right along...here is a gorgeous white, with a bit of blue, bouquet to start off the week...
