Homemade: Pin Cushions

Happy Thursday my darlings!  Today's 'Homemade' post is a spin off of this guest post I did for the oh so sweet Gaby of Cap Classique.  If you missed it you must have a look-see, as there are some simple and cute ideas ;-)

So as you might have guessed by the title (hehe) today's homemade project is pin cushions!  While I used store bought pin cushions as escort cards for the post I did for Gaby - I have to tell you...I am OVER THE MOON about the homemade ones I stumbled across on Sweet Paul's blog.  Just look at how adorable this homemade pin cushion is...

I LOVE that you can make these in any color imaginable.  Ooh, pretty patterned ones would be fabulous - think chevron, floral, gingham, etc...  And you could even get a bit more creative and spray paint the can!

These pin cushions make a darling escort card or favor...or even stocking stuffer (okay, maybe I am getting a little ahead of myself with the last one)!
