So I have to tell you straight away that I L-O-V-E this 'Homemade' project! And there are bunches of homemade projects that I know I can just show you a picture of and that you would be able to recreate. Have a look-see at what I am talking about...
Darling, no? And with a handful of tin buckets, pails and even a watering can, this can easily be recreated. Just add some dirt and flowers and voila! Oh yes, a little water would help too ;-)
However, what I L-O-V-E about this project is that any type of pots and flowers would work! Square shiny colored ones would look great at a modern wedding, mossy terra cotta pots would look lovely at a garden wedding, etc...
A couple of hints for you though - To add some height just flip pots upside down and place another pot on top for a quick lift. Also, make sure to have a variety of sizes and heights to add interest.
There are a handful of ways to use them too - flanking your ceremony area, or at the start of the aisle were the first two that popped into my head. Yet, they would also look fabulous flanking the entrance into your reception area, or even the cake table, the corners of the dance floor, or just as general decor. And after the wedding...well I am sure they would look fabulous in your yard as well!
