Aisle Style: Simple Benches & Spools

Good morning loves!  You know how I love different, right?  Well when I came across this aisle style on the super talented Jeni's blog, The Found Blog, I fell head over heels in love with it.  Have a look-see at this sweetness...
Aisle Style
It's just so simple and lovely - just look at those hills!  Sometimes things get over done, however, this is just perfect.  Slim benches with a darling detail...
Aisle Style
Large vintage industrial spools painted pretty shades...
Aisle Style
The softest pinky-purpley blooms and yarn...
Aisle Style
And delicate foliage in lace pots, kept safe within some vintage baskets...
Aisle Style
You bet your buttons I L-O-V-E it all!

Who Says

...you can't use a lighted mirrored garland as a backdrop?
Tuesday Thought
Whether for the ceremony, behind the head table or the dessert table, a photo booth, as an escort area (kind of like the idea in my Tuesday Thought I posted yesterday) or just as decor...this would add the perfect amount of SPARKLE to your big day!  All you need is mirror garlands and one  (or more depending on how big you make it) white light strands to make your own ;-)  Or go right HERE for a step by step how to.

Now go get your sparkle on!

P.S. - Ooh, I gotta say...I would love this idea with my earlier Picture Perfect Palette today.  A winter wedding with a gorgeous, but unexpected, palette with lots of spakrle...now that's my kind of affair ;-)

Who Says

...you can't use fabric filled embroidery hoops as your ceremony backdrop?
Who Says

I L-O-V-E this idea!  I really, really do ;-)  And even if you don't want to use this idea for your ceremony, it would be fabulous just as decor or even for a photo booth.

Aisle Style: My Cup of Tea

Good morning loves!  I am running a bit behind today - as life just got even more busy around here...I'll explain soon ;-)  And my family is coming one week from today - YIPPEE!!!!  So the next couple of weeks are going to be super duper busy for me.  I am not complaining...just hoping to explain why at times my posts might be up a bit later than usual...so hang tight loves - things will be back to normal (whatever that is) around here about mid-August.

Let's get on with this post shall we...as this is one of the most darling ways I have seen an aisle decorated in a long time!  Have a look-see at the tea cups, pitchers and plates...
Aisle Style
I L-O-V-E it, don't you?  Now this is the out of the box thinking that sends me over the moon, and really is my cup of tea!  Hehe.  And the goodness doesn't stop there - look how fabulous the chuppah/canopy is that the bride and groom said their vows under...
Aisle Style
I am loving the lightness, sheerness and detail of the canopy, not to mention all the flowers and greenery, not only along the top of the structure but on all the poles as well.  All in all fabulous 'Aisle Style', no?

Homemade: Flower Garden

So I have to tell you straight away that I L-O-V-E this 'Homemade' project!  And there are bunches of  homemade projects that I know I can just show you a picture of and that you would be able to recreate.    Have a look-see at what I am talking about...
Tuesday-Thought
Darling, no?  And with a handful of tin buckets, pails and even a watering can, this can easily be recreated.   Just add some dirt and flowers and voila!  Oh yes, a little water would help too ;-)

However, what I L-O-V-E about this project is that any type of pots and flowers would work!  Square shiny colored ones would look great at a modern wedding, mossy terra cotta pots would look lovely at a garden wedding, etc...

A couple of hints for you though - To add some height just flip pots upside down and place another pot on top for a quick lift.  Also, make sure to have a variety of sizes and heights to add interest.

There are a handful of ways to use them too - flanking your ceremony area, or at the start of the aisle were the first two that popped into my head.  Yet, they would also look fabulous flanking the entrance into your reception area, or even the cake table, the corners of the dance floor, or just as general decor.  And after the wedding...well I am sure they would look fabulous in your yard as well!

Darling Detail No. 10: Cow Bells

Vintage cow bells tied with fun ribbon and pom poms at the end of each row is downright darling...
Darling Detail
What fun it would be to ring those bells as the new Mr. and Mrs. walk down the aisle after saying their I do's!  You can't help but smile just thinking about it, no?  I can't.  I can imagine bunches of different sounds from lots of different bells.  Ooh, I LOVE it!

Tuesday Thought: 'Chandelier' of Flowers

Happy Tuesday my loves!  How is your week going so far?  Just lovely I hope.  Well if it hasn't been going lovely so far, how about some flowers to make it a little bit better?  And I'm not talking any ol' flowers.  Oh no, I am talking a huge chandelier (of sorts) of them like you have never seen.  So here is your Tuesday Thought for today:  Create a chandelier of flowers for decor at you wedding like this...
Tuesday Thought
Just look at this amazingness...
Tuesday Thought
A close up for you...
Tuesday Thought
When I first ran across this picture on Coco + Kelley (LOVE her blog) I was in utter awe.  But then I thought - how absolutely fabulous would this look at a wedding.   Granted, it doesn't have to be this grand, a smaller version would be just as gorgeous, but something similar would sure make a gorgeous statement flanking your ceremony area, no?  Or anywhere for that matter!

Oh my, I can just picture it...natural linens on the tables (like the curtain above), butterfly accents, low and lush arrangements in long narrow wooden containers on the tables...  Can you picture it?  Just dreamy, no?

~ over the moon ~

...about this fabric backdrop for either decoration, your ceremony or your photo booth.
In love with
I love this idea of piece different fabrics together for a backdrop.  It is an fairly easy DIY, and such would be such a great detail to add to your big day.  I would also love to see it behing the head table...instead of a wall, if inside.  Just find some fabulous fabric and sew together!  Or bet yet, have someone sew it together for you ;-)))

~ location, location ~

My perfect spot to exchange vows?  Outside, under a tree...
Wedding
With benches, a fabulous mirror and lanterns hanging overhead, yes please!  Of course, I would need some flowers and a couple of other details, but in terms of location - perfection!  Where is your perfect spot to exchange vows?
