Good morning darlings ;-) Well, I decided I can't do 'Fall Week' without a darling detail, now can I? And the detail that I am loving for Fall is this wheat garland...
Natural, earthy rusticness is just perfect for Fall. And it would be so simple to make! Goodness, I see a small project coming on ;-)

Darling Detail No. 24: Milk Bottles
After last week's Color Crave and Color Crave Recreated post - I am in L-O-V-E with milk bottles! I mean I have always loved them...but now I REALLY LOVE them ;-) And I really need to get my hands on some of these, as they are just darling...
I love that there are so many ways in which you could use! How sweet would these be filled with a signature cocktail, as above? Or filled with flowers on a table? Or to have a milk bar with chocolate, strawberry, etc... Or milk for a cereal bar, or for serving up milk and cookies? I also think they would be darling holding drink stirrers or little flags! Stick a table number on a stick in a flower filled one and voila - simple and sweet table numbers (as seen in the Color Crave post)! I would love them on a dessert table too - filled with licorice whips or suckers ;-) As well as they would make darling favors, for your guests to take home, filled with candy or a variety of candies! See loves - lots of ways to use.
And while I think the chicken stamp is DARLING, I would be oh so tempted to use a cow stamp if the bottles were going to have milk in them ;-) I know cliche! But still oh so darling ;-)

Darling Detail No. 23: Snowflakes
Okay, so I know I am getting ahead of myself on this one a bit ;-) But I know there are lots of winter brides out there that would still have time to add this detail into their rustic winter wonderland wedding!
I think these snowflake topped cakes are just darling...
I adore details like this, don't you? And I am loving the sugar coating on the cake and snowflake in the first picture...makes it look like it's just snowed! Eeks - these DETAILS are making me smile ;-)

Darling Detail No. 22: Ribbon Adorned Chairs
I think these ribbon adorned chairs are pretty darling...
I really love the soft, muted colors of the ribbons. But do you know what makes these even more darling? When every single chair has them...
...everyone feels special. Not to mention the statement that they make!
P.S. - And you know me ~ I LOVE those rugs ;-) A fabulous detail, no?

Darling Detail No. 18: Beer in a Bag
Oh yes my dears, you read that correctly - beer in a bag! And let me tell you, it's never look so good...
I mean really - if your going to serve beer, you might as well do it in style ;-) And I gotta admit I am loving this style!
Maybe it's because I hung out at the brewery yesterday afternoon that I have beer on the brain. Or maybe it's because the hefeweizen might have gone straight to my head...whatever the reason, I am still loving the beer in a bag. So cheers loves!

LCW Style: On the Bright Side
Happy July my dears! July is one of my favorite months, and I am so happy it is finally here. As this is the month that I get to see my sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew and mom! Yippee ;-) I haven't seen them since December, and I am OVER THE MOON that they are coming to Cali! So my summer sure is looking bright.
And speaking of bright - there is nothing like wearing a bright shade of yellow as soon as the temperature starts rising. Granted, occasionally I will wear this color at other times during the year, but for some reason I really love it best in summer. Maybe it's because I usually like to have a tan when wearing it so the color really pops, or maybe it's because I'm just a goofy girl! Whatever the reason is, I thought I would share with you a couple of ways you could incorporate this color into your summer soiree.
Let's start off decorating you and/or your bridesmaids, shall we? This Max Azria dress would be fabulous to wear for a summer engagement party, bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. Yet, it is also a wonderful option for your bridesmaids dresses too...
And the dress really looks darling with a belt! However, if this is just too much color for you, an amazing pair of Christian Louboutin's peeking out from under your dress would be another fabulous option...
Eeks - tell me those stunners don't make a statement! I would be wearing these all the way into fall. And an easy way to incorporate this color into your decor? Well a flower curtain, of course!..
Amazing, right? And to think that it's made out of spray painted plastic bottles...oh I so want to try this!
Anyhoo, there are just a couple ways for you to incoporate a bright summery color. At the very least, I sure do hope it's brightened your day ;-) Happy Friday loves...I will be back with another post later today.

Darling Detail No: 14: Compass Escort Cards
I think I might be on a nautical kick! I know the ever so wonderful and uber talented Chris, over at Postcards and Pretties, is already on one - as she said so right here ;-) But with my Getting Knotty post yesterday, this post now, and a Picture Perfect Palette post coming up soon...well I think I just have to say that I am on one as well!
So with that - have a look-see at these darling compass escort cards...
Eeks...so perfectly nautical, no? You can purchase these darling compass escort cards on LH Calligraphy's Etsy shop, where she calligraphy's the names and table numbers of your guests for you. Click here to get there quick.
However, she also sells a compass kit with blank paper inserts so you could make your own. AND, if you change the fabric they are on (or don't use fabric at all), and use a fun font these could easily be used for a woodsy wedding too. How darling would they be hanging from trees? Just flip the names around on the inside of the compass, attach some twine to the metal ring and hang.
Or you could hang them while closed and have the guests names on the outside, just use a Glue Dot to adhere the paper too without ruining the compass. Then on the inside have the table your guest is to sit at - so they have to open to find their seat. And continuing on, have a sign that says "Please Find Your Way To Your Seat". And have the table numbers be not numbers at all, but directions like NNE... oh you know I could go on, but I will stop there before I get too carried away. But they would be oh so cute, no?

Darling Detail No. 9: Seeing Stars
These are just the stars I would love to see this morning...
Filled with a mimosa now, and some champagne later this afternoon! Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the day, no? Okay, I have to stop dreaming ;-)
You have to admit though - seeing these star stir sticks all lined up in sparkly glasses sure does make a pretty sight. A simple, DIY detail that is just darling. And who doesn't love little stars adorning their cocktail?

Darling Detail No. 8: How To Set A Table
Just in case you needed a lovely reminder...
~ Ciao
What a darling way to show how to set a table. It would be perfect to hand out a copy to friends and family that are helping with the setup of the event (if you're doing it yourselves), as a gentle reminder on the correct way to set a table, no?
I am adoring this illustration by Amy Borrell...as well as a handful of her other drawings...like The Moon, and Bird Eggs of Australia. But how cute is it that she added a chandelier to the illustration above? Oh, I love the detail. If you are not familiar with her work...you can have a look-see of all of it right here.
So will you be setting the table this weekend? I will be...I do almost every night! Cheers to a lovely weekend darlings! I'll see you back here on Sunday, as always, for some sweetness.

Over the Moon
...about all of these chandeliers!
Eeks!!! Holy moly this is so gorgeous, no?
However, I want to make a small point here...while the chandeliers above are fabulously gorgeous (and would be pricey if you had to purchase on your own)...what really makes the picture above so over the moon for me is that there are mulitples of them! One chandelier in the picture above would be great, would it not? However, having multipe chandeliers is what really makes a statement without being too over the top...or what I call "over the moon".
My point: mulitples don't necessarily have to break the bank or budget to be over the moon. A lot of homemade paper chains, golden paper stars, bunting, twinkling lights, hanging mason jars filled with candles, etc.. are all fairly inexpensive items...yet, all over the moon in my book! So when you are thinking of adding a detail to your big day, think about how to take it from great to over the moon. For example, three paper chains over the tables are great, but 5 or 7 would be over the moon!
P.S. - Just don't go over the top...unless that is the look you are going for...and then go big...really big ;-)

Fabulous, no? Oh, I am over the moon about this little detail! Here's a couple of more pictures for you...
Such a sweet and simple DIY. All you need is a book. Now I know that a book at each place setting might be too much, however a couple of books here and there with a heart would still be cute!~ Ciao
