~ homemade: salt & pepper shakers part I ~

Happy Thursday my dears!  I have another very, easy, diy (homemade) idea for salt and pepper shakers.  Now I know almost everyone has a set, me...well I like vintage glass, crystal and silver ones...so I have a handful of sets.  Here's a little sample for you...

But what I thought would be cute to do with these is to take off the tops...

And to use them as miniature vases.  Either with a couple sprigs...

Or lots of them...

They would also look fabulous going down the center of a table, in lieu of larger centerpieces...

Just imagine them with really pretty arrangements rather than things from my garden!  These are just a couple of ideas, but I have some more coming in my next post...with some things to keep in mind as well...so you don't want to miss it!
