Tuesday Shoesday #46: Marveously Metallic

Good morning sweetpeas!  Are you ready for another installment of Luna and Chloe Wedding's Tuesday Shoesday?  Well I hope so, as I think mine are extra sweet...hehe.

I ran across this darling pair of Chloe metallic leather ballerina flats...

And couldn't help but think they would make fabulous dancing shoes!  But here is the sweet part - then I ran across this oh so fabulous metallic cake...

And thought that they sure do make a great pair, don't you think?  Yes, pun absolutely intended...ha.  But I do love how both of them are low and sleek.  Plus, I love the detailing on the shoe, and the cake stand - they are just fabuous together too.  And speaking of fabulous - how about that cake?  Seriously, have you ever seen anything so marevelously metallic?  I just can't stop staring at it...however, I think a slice of it would stop that ;-)

Tuesday Shoesday #45: Nuts for Boots

Good morning lovelies - Happy Tuesday to you!  Since I am posting all things Fall this week, I thought these Chloe leather boots would be perfect for a rustic Fall affair...

I'm loving the simple detail and the seams on these boots, and I think that a wedding dress adorned with a leather belt would be so cute too!  Plus, don't they pair up nicely with the texture and colors of these handmade completely edible nuts...

I am going NUTS over these!  No really, I am ;-)  How totally fabulous are they?  I love that they are completely edible, and filled with chocolate.  And they look wonderful on top of a cake.  Now that would be my kind of Fall cake...a gorgeous white cake with strategically placed nuts!  No pun intended at all loves.  And I think I would need a squirrel cake topper too ;-)

Not your traditional Fall inspired cake, but one that would most definitely make a statement!

Tuesday Shoesday #39: Gold Glitter Goodness

How about some glittery goodness to start out your morning this morning loves?  Since we are now in September, and September brings the official start of Fall, I think these gold glitter Miu Miu's would add just the right amount of golden sparkle to a Fall wedding...

And granted, while you might want to make a statement with glitter all over your feet, I think a subtle hint of glitter on your cake would make just as much a statement, don't you?

And let's be honest - would you really want to eat a cake that was covered in gold glitter?  Eeks, I don't really think I would.  Granted I know it's edible, but the thought of eating lots of it just doesn't seem that appetizing to me.  However, a hint of gold glitter would be fine with me.  How about you my dears - what are your thoughts?

Tuesday Shoesday #36: Marvelous Metallic

Eeks - running a bit late again this morning loves!  Hope your morning is a good one.  I can't believe that I am actually going to say this...but I am thinking about Fall!  I know, I am so not ready for it.  Yet, when I ran across these Christian Louboutin metallic pumps...

...I couldn't help but think how marvelous they would be for a Fall wedding ;-)  The bronze color is such a gorgeous color, and would add such a rich and glamorous feel.  And I found the perfect cake to go along with them!  Have a look-see at this loveliness created by the insanely talented Melody of My Sweet & Saucy...

Both are soft and rich and smooth and not over done.  A perfect match if there ever was one, no?

Oh Christian Louboutin why do you torture me so?  All in the perfect shade for Fall, and a rich suede...seriously swooning here ladies!  Just have a look-see at these a.maz.ing creations...

Last Friday I was glamming it up with a garland and pinatas...this Friday I'm glamming it up with Dior's silver strappy sandals, pink feathers...

And a Chanel bag...

Quite glamorous, don't you think? Oh and you bet I can justify that larger Chanel bag.  You see...a small clutch is perfect to carry for the big day, but you still need other items that just won't fit into a clutch...hence a larger bag is needed to hold all the extra necessary (key word here) items!!!

~ pump day: in the nude ~

So I know everyone does Tuesday Shoesday...but on my other blog, luna and chloe, I usually do a Pump Day post on Wednesday.  There's nothing like a pair of pumps to get you over the mid-week hump!  So I figured why not do one here as well...with weddings in mind of course.  Granted I have done some posts titled ~ shoe in ~ here and there...but I'm thinking a weekly post might be fun...we'll see!

Here are two options in patent leather that I am currently crushing on!  Brian Atwood's nude and black drama pumps...

The black really does add some drama to them.  And Miu Miu's nude and camel peep toe's with a bow...

...which are just adorable!  Either pair is subtley sexy, and perfect if you like them high (both have a 5.5 inch heel and a platform).  I love the vintagey, old-school charm feel of them.  Both are definitely classics that you'll be able to wear again and again!

Yowza!  These will definitely help you shine on your wedding day...

Do you dare wear?  I would pair them with a shorter (not necessarily short) dress to really let them shine!  Old Hollywood glamour is what I'm thinking.

I totally fell for this picture the second I saw it...

All I could think about was what a fabulous save the date postcard this would make!  I know, totally cliche, but I think it would be a fun change over all the other save the dates out there these days.  Just make sure it's your feet and flowers...being barefoot would be an adorable picture too, and if it's a beach wedding have your feet in the sand!  Then just add: he loves me and we're tying the knot with some details.  Loving it for an outdoor casual affair.
