~ flowers of the week: 1.17.11 ~

What a lovely Monday, no?  This weekend the temperatures were in the low 70's...which makes me very happy...which is always a great way to start a new week.  What's another great way to start the week?  Well with flowers, of course!  And I just have to say that this week's flowers have made it into my faves...

I am in L-O-V-E with this arrangement.  Head over heels in love with it!  Yep, that much.  The colors, the texture, the casualness...and of course that King Protea is just perfection!  Don't you just love when flowers make you happy?  And this arrangement is making me really, really happy.  And because I am so happy today, I thought I would give you, my dear readers, a little something extra this morning...

...just to make your Monday sweet!

~ tuesday shoesday #4: braids for the beach ~

Wow, am I late getting this post up!  Even later when I realized my scheduled post was set for the wrong time - so struggling today.  Sorry about that. 

Today has been cold, windy and rainy again, and I have been just chilled to the bone all day.  Can't seem to get warm.  So I have been thinking of sunny, warm tropical places to try and warm me up - not working so far...but I did find a fabulous little pair of sandals to wear for a beachy/tropical wedding!  Have a look-see at these Lanvin thong sandals...
