Since my earlier Tuesday Thought post was about honeymoon's...so I have beach, sand and sun on my mind and couldn't help but post these fabulous Gucci bamboo and rope detailed sandals...

The rope detail makes them so perfect for a beach wedding, no?  Or any wedding by the water for that matter.  And even if you aren't having a beach wedding, you can always pick them up to take on your  honeymoon if you're heading somewhere warm!

Homemade: Roped In

Aye, aye, aye - what a week this has been.  All week I have felt like I have been a day late and a dollar short!  And while I had the very best intentions of getting a sweet homemade project put together for you - a variety of events have happened that have just put me behind schedule, and left me without time to do so.

So please forgive me for not creating my own homemade post for you today.  However, here is an easy (really only two items needed) DIY project that I am adoring right now.  How about a simple display of rope in glass vases...
Wedding
I can't help but think that they would make fabulous centerpieces!  I would love to see this type of decor at a beach/lake wedding.  It's simple, elegant and not blue.  The calm color palette of neutral, natural colors would look wonderful by the water - allowing the beach/lake to take center stage.  However, a hint (key word here) of baby blue here and there would look lovely with this neutral color palette.

And with a couple other decorations such as the shell above, some vintage books or prints, flowers in white and cream, and lots of candles - your tables would be oh so dreamy.

P.S. - I will be back on track next week with my own Tuesday Thought and Homemade project for you...so be on the lookout for them!
