Hi there lovelies!  Continuing on with all things Halloween...I couldn't help but think that this dress would be PERFECT for Halloween...
LCW Sytle
Oh yes, love the dark side...hehe.  And you know what, black or not, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this dress especially the neckline!  And I LOVE it that much that it just made itself onto my all time fave list ;-)

P.S. - How perfect is it with the flowers I posted earlier?

LCW Style: Belt It Out Loud

Good morning to you sweet peas!  It's hump day...YAY ;-)  That means only one more day until Luna and Chloe Handcrafted on Etsy opens, and a giveaway!

Continuing on with all the glittery fun from yesterday, I thought that this belt would be a FABULOUS way to bring in some glitter on your big day...
LCW Style
Wouldn't you agree?  I know belts have been a big thing lately, but while most of them have been brown leather (which is one of my fave looks by the way), you could add some glittery goodness to a glam wedding with this fabulous glitter belt.  I can only imagine how it would sparkle and shine when you're out twirling on the dance floor ;-)  A fashion statement?  Most definitely!

LCW Style: Now This is My Kind of Apron

So yesterday I get an e-mail from my sissy with a link, and when I clicked on the link it took me to this...

And this...

And this...

From the first second I laid eyes on the first two I was in L-O-V-E, and said - oooh it looks like a wedding dress.  Wouldn't it make the PERFECT gift for a bride?  It would definitely give her a good reason to cook...hehe ;-)  However, in my house you might just catch me wearing it around house...even if I'm not cooking!

The aprons are made by a company in Poland called Cookie, and are made from a thick natural cotton.  I love how the COOKIE letters are sewn onto the bottom of each apron - such a fabulous detail!  And I think it's about time aprons make a comeback, don't you?

P.S. - THANK YOU sissy!!! 1.4.3. to the moon and back ;-)

LCW Honeymoon Style: A Scarf

My dears - I completely forgot to wish you a happy September yesterday!  I think it is because I never got around to a second post, but whatever the reason is, I hope that your September is spectacular ;-)  And I must wish you a happy Labor Day weekend too!  Weeeee - I just love long holiday weekends.

It's funny how the last couple of days I have woke up to crisp mornings...I can already feel Fall in the air.  I think others would disagree, as the days are still hot, but that morning air with the cool breeze making the leaves rustle in the trees is definitely Fall in my book.  I would have to say the month of September is my second favorite month of the year.  July being my first.  But someway, somehow September is ALWAYS a good month.  I don't mind pulling on a sweatshirt to go on a evening stroll ;-)  Or snuggling up because I'm a tad cold.  Maybe that's it - September is the start of cuddling weather!  And I LOVE to cuddle.

Yet, Fall isn't here just yet. And while the days are still hot....I think this holiday weekend, I just might squeeze in a couple more days playing in the sun - slipping on a sundress, exploring a small beach town, all  while wearing a scarf in my hair.  Just like this...
Fashion
I adore this look, don't you?  It has such a stylish ease to it.  Goodness, I wish I always could dress like this!

Oooh, and speaking of holiday's - wouldn't this look be perfect for your honeymoon.  You could wear it while exploring a small beach town...on the Amalfi coast!

You bet your buttons I am wearing a scarf in my hair this weekend - I must as this might be my last opportunity to do so this Summer...and I have just the perfect one too.

Anyhoo, hoping you enjoy the last days of Summer my loves!  And do something fun...and a bit different.  Because as Aunt Millie always says:  "It takes all kinds of people to make up this world...it would be boring if we were all alike." Isn't that the truth!  ;-)

Stay safe this weekend.  Mwah, mwah!

P.S. - I plan on getting back on track, and caught up this weekend!  Plus I have some good things happening next week....Luna and Chloe Handcrafted on Etsy will be open for business on Thursday, as well as OTMVR will be in a shop - yippee!  I will have to show you my design and styling for that...which is one of the things I have been working on.  Also, I have another 'Inspiration to Creation' week coming up soon...however, I just might need your help in choosing which one to create...as I can't decide ;-)  So I'll see you back here on Sunday for some sweetness...and Monday for your Fall 'Flowers of the Week!'

LCW Style: Feathers in Your Hair

It's funny how sometimes I get on a kick with something without really trying.  Does this ever happen to you?  Goodness,  please say yes ;-)...at least to make me feel better!  Anyhow, on Tuesday I posted shoes and a cake with feathers, then on Wednesday a tepee with feathers...and all week I have been seeing feathers everywhere.

And tonight I found a few fabulous feathers for your hair that I just had to share!  I know I have posted about Twigs & Honey before, but never ones with feathers.  I gotta say I just L-O-V-E Myra's creations.  Am I a fan - HUGE one ;-)  Have a look-see, and I am sure you'll be one too...
Feathers-1
How's that for a feather cascade?  Gorgeous, isn't it?  Just as gorgeous as this flapper inspired headband...
Feathers-2
OMGoodness, since I am not getting married anytime soon, I think I just might have to be a flapper for Halloween this year, just so I can wear this headband!

I think these have to be some of the prettiest feathers for your hair I have ever seen.  And I can't wait to see what Myra creates for the 2012 collection - you know it's going to be amazing!

LCW Style: On the Bright Side

Happy July my dears!  July is one of my favorite months, and I am so happy it is finally here.  As this is the month that I get to see my sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew and mom!  Yippee ;-)  I haven't seen them since December, and I am OVER THE MOON that they are coming to Cali!  So my summer sure is looking bright.

And speaking of bright - there is nothing like wearing a bright shade of yellow as soon as the temperature starts rising.  Granted, occasionally I will wear this color at other times during the year, but for some reason I really love it best in summer.  Maybe it's because I usually like to have a tan when wearing it so the color really pops, or maybe it's because I'm just a goofy girl!  Whatever the reason is, I thought I would share with you a couple of ways you could incorporate this color into your summer soiree.

Let's start off decorating you and/or your bridesmaids, shall we?  This Max Azria dress would be fabulous to wear for a summer engagement party, bridal shower or rehearsal dinner.  Yet, it is also a wonderful option for your bridesmaids dresses too...
max azria
And the dress really looks darling with a belt!  However, if this is just too much color for you, an amazing pair of Christian Louboutin's peeking out from under your dress would be another fabulous option...
LCW
Eeks - tell me those stunners don't make a statement!  I would be wearing these all the way into fall.  And an easy way to incorporate this color into your decor?  Well a flower curtain, of course!..
Darling Detail
Darling Detail
Amazing, right?  And to think that it's made out of spray painted plastic bottles...oh I so want to try this!

Anyhoo, there are just a couple ways for you to incoporate a bright summery color.  At the very least, I sure do hope it's brightened your day ;-)  Happy Friday loves...I will be back with another post later today.

LCW Style: Floral Crowns

I have been in quite a dreamy mood lately.  I think the wedding of Kate and Wills is what did it ;-)  And it got me thinking of what a 'dream' wedding would be in my world...cause gosh knows it would still never be anything close to theirs - which I am absolutely fine with!  In my 'dream' wedding all the bridesmaids would be in white summer dresses and wearing floral crowns in their hair in lieu of bouquets...
LCW Style Floral Crowns
Since the bridesmaids are not carrying bouquets...I would have them carry a mason jar with a handle, adorned with ribbon, with a lighted candle inside, and each would wear a different floral corsage on their wrist as their only accessory.  Sounds quite dreamy, no?

So tell me my lovelies...what would your 'dream' wedding be like?
